متصفح Mozilla Firefox بسيط واكثر من رائع وغني عن التعريف ، منافس قوي لمتصفح انترنت اكسبلورر و يتميز بسرعة خياليه في التصفح للانترنت و يحتوي على مميزات مثل تنظيم الصفحات على شكل تابز في اعلى الصفحة وايضا دعم ميزة الأخبار الفورية RSS يحتوي فايرفوكس على مزايا كثيرة منها ميزة مانع النوافذ المنبثقة ، ميزة تصفح الألسنة ، ميزه علامات المواقع الحية ، وميزة الامتدادات ؛ لإضافة خصائص جديدة، ومع أن العديد من المتصفحات تحتوي على بعض تلك الميزات ، إلا أن فايرفوكس كان الأول الذي احتوى على كل هذه الخصائص وحظي بترحاب الجميع . و قد جذب فايرفوكس الانتباه كبديل عن متصفحات ويب أخرى كالمتصفح إنترنت إكسبلورر المدمج في نظام مايكروسوفت ويندوز وسفاري المدمج في نظام التشغيل ماك أو إس إكس الذي تنتجه شركة أبل كمبيوتر وهو متوافق مع كل اصدارات الويندوز .
